A BIT ABOUT MATTHEW

Matthew was born and raised in Mooresville, North Carolina and was only 5 years old when he stepped on stage for the first time to perform in his first musical. Ever since then, he knew he would be destined to be a performer.  Over the years leading up to high school and college, Matthew would pursue performing, whether it be at community theater, his own school, or the musicals his church put on growing up.

Matthew would graduate from Catawba College with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Music in 2020, and despite Miss Rona’s setback, would continue to flourish, performing with Right Angle Entertainment’s Murder Mystery Parody of The Office and then making a journey to The REV where he would perform as the Male Swing in their production of Romeo & Juliet.

Since then he has travelled around the world, performing in shows, cruises and readings such as The Railway Children (Father/Mr.Szczepansky), Disney’s Pixar Day at Sea (Performer) and Man of La Mancha (Anselmo) where he would perform alongside Golden Globe Award winner Scott Bakula
